Summer Fun!

Sierra likes to choose her own hair style for the day. Today was pigtails!

She also enjoys posing for the camera. Right before this picture she said, "Mommy, take a picture of me like this!"

We have reallly enjoyed our backyard this summer especially since it is shaded most of the day! Sierra and friends have been swimming, playing in the playhouse, and in the sprinkler.

Take me out to the ballgame

Thanks to David and Tracey for the invite to the Frisco Rough Riders game! Great seats, great company, great weather! It was a beautiful night and Sierra had a blast. Minor league baseball is so family friendly. Sierra had her picture taken with Duece the mascot, the 6 foot 9 praire dog. She also was put up on the big screen and did her "cheese" face. Dad has always wanted to make it on the big screen, but I think the fans are more like grandparents - they'd rather see the cute 2 year old on the screen. Sierra loved all the music they played and danced to every song. And what's a baseball game without some peanuts? Dad was glad Sierra was there to help shell them. Although, it can be hard work...

Princess Ball

On Sunday, Jeremy took Sierra to the Father/Daughter Princess Ball that our church puts on. There is dinner, ice cream, and dancing. She took the "princess" part very seriously and wore her Cinderella dress, slippers and crown. From what I heard, they had a great time. Sierra spent most of the night dancing and twirling to the music. She barely made it in to bed before she was out for the night. :)

Sierra Feeding a Giraffe

Last week, we got to visit the zoo with some friends and family. We had not been since they had done all the updates. It was really nice and not many people were there. Sierra even got to feed a giraffe! Here is the proof!

Hanging with cousin Drake

Since cousin Sutton was in the hospital, Drake got to spend the night at our house a couple of nights. Sierra was very excited to have Drake over to play. First thing she asked when she woke up on morning was, "Where's my Drake?" He's so good with kids, he even let Sierra take a "nap" on him.

Valentines Day

Sierra was given a sleeping bag and night light from from Mom B for valentines day. She liked it so much, she decided to take a nap right away in it. Don't forget to turn the light out Mom!

And she was till playing with her Beauty and the Beast singing card from DeeDee when Dad got home from work.

Santa Claus

Where we live, Santa makes house calls BEFORE Christmas! Santa came to Auntie K's house last week and found 3 sweet children there waiting for him!

Asking Santa for an "Elmo bike" for Christmas........which in "Sierra translation" means a tricylce like Elmo rides on Sesame Street.

Sutton started off the night right by being the first to sit on Santa's lap.....no tears, just smiles.
