As of 8:45pm Vegas time last night, we are home (at the hotel) with Sierra!!!!!
The birth parents have relinquished their rights. The pediatrician has released her from the hospital. We've signed our part of the paper work. The agency has given physical custody to us.
Next step is processing the ICPC so we can leave Nevada. It's basically getting the state of Nevada and Texas to sign off on the baby coming to Texas with us. That takes 7 to 10 business days typically and the paper work will be sent to Carson City on Monday.
While the wait seemed long, throughout this whole process, God was in control, and had a perfect plan. While we didn't see eye to eye with Him on that plan, He has provided and we are gracious and humbled.
Thank you all for your comments, calls, and prayers, we feel so much love and I know Sierra does as well.

I still tear up everytime I read your blog! I am overflowing with joy for you guys! The Lord is SO GOOD!!!!! Can't wait for 7-10 business days to be gone, so we can meet this little one.

So, she is even cuter in real clothes! She is so adorable in that carseat!! I have read over this entire blog and all of the comments several times a day, and I cry every time! Sierra, you are extremely blessed to be loved by so many good people!! We are all blessed by God's boundless love--my heart is just running over with joy!! What a difference a tiny little bundle can make in this world! Sierra, I printed off a bunch of your pictures, and I am carrying them around with me everywhere I go! I set your first picture up on the table tonight as your papa and I ate with your great Aunt Darla and Uncle Gerry!! It is the best I can do until I am actually able to hold you and love on you--I am SOO ready to see you in person! I know that Mom B and Pop are the best helpers for Mommy and Daddy, and that they are all probably fighting over who gets to hold you! I think that part will never end, as long as you live! We have waited so long for your arrival, and I do not mean just since August 5th! We have bunches of love to give you, and we are just getting started! I love you all!! Deedee
